Aeroflot also known as Aeroflot Russian Airlines. The largest airline as well as flag carrier of Russian Federation. The airline fly on domestic and international flights. Its main hub is at Sheremetyevo Airport. Talking about Tupolev Tu-144, this is a supersonic commercial aircraft. The only competitor was Aerospatiale Concorde. These two supersonic aircraft were shut down later on. Back to Aeroflot, this aircraft entered service in 1975 but as freighter service. In 1977 the airline officially used this as commercial fleet. Although its fast the fuel performance was very inefficient. Later on the airline phasing out the aircraft in 2006.
