The design is a signature Italian design. It is weird at a glance but astonishing at the same time. The Avanti has fixed forewings and engine mounted on main wings. They have high aspect ratio wing configuration. As a result the wing will give good on lift force. In opposite way, low aspect ratio wing will have poor lift ratio. However, it will give you good maneuverability.
