All Nippon Airways Boeing 787-9 Delivery for 50th deliveries. Launch customer All Nippon Airways has taken delivery of its 50th Boeing 787, becoming the first vehicle to do so.
The 787-9, which has a small "number 50,787 ANA" sticker on your front fuselage was delivered at a ceremony in downtown Everett Boeing deliveries on August 17.
"The 787 has played an important role in opening new routes to new markets, while the backbone of our long-haul fleet is formed," said ANA President and CEO Osamu Shinobe.
Our database shows that the airline has 35 of the smallest 787-8 into service, while one is in storage under repair after a recent engine failure. The latest installment also brings its fleet to 14 units 787-9, with another 30 on order. ANA also has orders for three of the stretched -10 variant.
